The Old Metropolis is a former Byzantine Greek Orthodox basilica dedicated to Saint Paul, located in the city of Veria, in the Central Macedonia region of northern Greece. Built as a cathedral in the early 11th-century during the Venetian period, in 1430 the structure was converted to a mosque, called the Hünkar Mosque during the Ottoman era.
